I transformed this piece of driftwood, here at the Sri lankan beach...instantly Kurdi Aylan, the Syrian 8 year old, occurred to me...and how refugees have become illegal immigrants and treated as such. Just imagine the mental and physical wounds after such a traverse of the oceans.
